Fossil Creek, 1986. The emergency broadcast came in at sundown: stay indoors, lights off, do not go outside. Nobody said why. Then the crickets stopped. You and your friends are holed up in a house on the edge of the woods with no way out until morning. Lock every door. Board every window. Keep the generator running.
